Quick reminder to unsuspected Paypal users

I have been receiving these emails lately once a day it seems.

Take a look at two of them:

some of the most advanced security systems in the world and our anti-fraud teams regularly screen the PayPal system for unusual activity.

Recently, our Account Review Team identified some unusual activity in your account. In accordance with PayPal's User Agreement access to your account will be limited. This is a fraud prevention measure meant to ensure that your account is not compromised.

In order to secure your account we may require some specific information from you. We encourage you to log in by clicking on the link below and complete the requested form as soon as possible.

Once you have updated your account records, your PayPal session will not be interrupted and will continue as normal.

The second one is easily discarded since the address it sends you to is not paypal.com

But the first one is a little hard to realize because it can trick you that the link goes to paypal.com but if you hit it takes you to paypal.us. DON'T BE FOOLED

I have received these emails from: no-replyy @ gmail.com, news @ gmail.com, account @ gmail.com, tp-verify @ gmail.com make a note of those adresses and also make a note that paypal is not supposed to be sending such emails AT ALL.

Upon receiving these emails you can send them to spoof @ paypal.com in hope that paypal can do something about them

This technique is very old and for anyone interested in reading more about it, its called phishing

Yeah my friends paypal account recently got hacked,and he's a very experienced user.But paypal were very quick in refunding the money to him that was stolen'.--------------Guru says GOODBYE to the search engines

I get my paypal e-mail in my gmail box and 99% of the fake paypal e-mails goes straight into the junk mail :)One Golden rule:Login only via the browser using the https:// url

I have received this kind of email several times. I just ignore it.
