LONDON - British newspapers say Madonna and Guy Ritchie are splitting up.
The Sun reports the American pop star and British movie director want a divorce finalized by Christmas.
The Daily Mail says a statement on the couple's future will soon be released. The newspapers cited unnamed sources.
Madonna has been linked to the recent breakup of New York Yankees baseball star Alex Rodriquez and his wife, Cynthia Rodriquez. Over the summer the pop star denied rumors of a romance with Rodriquez and denied her own marriage was on the rocks.
Madonna is in the middle of her latest world tour, "Sticky & Sweet."

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) -
Returning to the stage after eight years of retirement, Tina Turner delivered a mix of gritty soul and Vegas spectacle during a two-hour show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday.
Coming up on her 69th birthday, the Queen of Rock can't move like days of old, but her voice and her spirit were willing, as were those legendary legs.
The first half kicked into high gear a few songs in with the rising rumbling of the Phil Spector classic "River Deep -- Mountain High," its Wall of Sound intact, followed by the British Invasion-styled "What You Get Is What You See" and a crunchy, commanding "Better Be Good to Me."

Long gone is the shaggy-haired funk-soul brother who enthusiastically commanded the stage with fancy footwork and freaky stage props (anyone recall the show-stopping leaf blower of the mid-'90s?) These days, Beck Hansen is a shaggy-haired, 38-year-old father of two who seems to feel that life on the road has grown more grueling, and less gratifying.
In fact, Beck has threatened that this current jaunt |

In a video posted over the weekend on YouTube, the band is seen in the control room as the camera pans over to Vig, who smiles and extends his middle finger. Instrumental bits of two new songs are heard in the background.
Vig is best known for his work on Nirvana's "Nevermind" but has also logged time behind the boards with Smashing Pumpkins and Sonic Youth, in addition to his musician role in Garbage. Of late, he has produced albums fro |
